If you work in education, health, or other careers that require your fingerprints be processed through BCI and/or the FBI, the Marion Police Department can do these two days a week. If your business has a large number of employees who need checks done, call us and we may be able to do it on a weekend if it is pre-scheduled.

Normal operating hours are Tuesday and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Book your appointment below using the online booking option.

A WebCheck costs $30 for the BCI check (Ohio only) and $30 for the FBI check.

The turnaround time for a BCI check is about a week and about a week and a half for the FBI check, but both can take up to a month. The web checks will be mailed directly to your employer.

***IMPORTANT***
Make sure to bring your Ohio ID, your employer or potential employer’s mailing address, as well as what category should be used for both the BCI and/or FBI checks. Please fill out this form ahead of time: Request for WebCheck form.

Payment can be made by cash, check or credit card. Credit card payments carry an additional $3.00 charge for processing.

Employers can check the validity of prospective or current employees’ Ohio background check results showing no criminal history by going to the BCI WebCheck Letter Verifier.
